Dr. April Foster is a board-certified family medicine physician licensed nationwide. She has built her own business focused on providing remote oversight as both a collaborating physician and medical director, ensuring it is effective, personal, and compliant with each state’s unique laws and regulations. Dr. April consistently seeks guidance from trusted nationwide insurance, legal, and financial institutions to ensure she provides the best and most up-to-date oversight not only to her clients but also to other physicians and providers who wish to utilize her services. She has received extensive training to confidently support and guide all of her clients.

Dr. April completed her Osteopathic Training at Nova Southeastern University in 2011 and her family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2014, graduating as chief resident. Following residency, she has practiced in a variety of settings, including urgent care, rural medical clinics, and telemedicine. From 2015-2016, she served as Medical Director of Western Tidewater Free Clinic in Suffolk, Virginia, where she was the sole practitioner and advocate for rural medicine. Over the past 7 years, she has shifted her focus to telemedicine. As a Virtualist Physician, licensed nationwide, she envisions increasing access to care through technology and telemedicine platforms.

Dr. April has established a non-profit, Leilani Health, that reflects her heart’s vision to bring healthcare to people without homes on the streets, as well as disaster relief medical care, with a long-term vision of providing trauma and mental health care for disaster victims.
